One of the strangest aspects of aging that they don't warn you about is watching as history gets rewritten right in front of your face and people 20 years younger than you confidently tell you about something you lived through and get it completely wrong.

So annoyed by how people selling secondhand clothing online are using AI to generate images of the item being worn. It's completely useless because it doesn't show anything accurately and in fact just makes me dubious that the item even exists.

Random sewing tip from my old costume professor: “pin the shit out of your gathers” Additionally, having the gathered fabric against the feed dogs and holding your fabric perpendicular helps the fabric move through the machine and your gathers don’t get dragged along and sewn at an angle. #sewing
