Not buying GTA 6. Not likely to buy a PlayStation 6, either. Because I don’t believe in buying empty boxes.

I suspect that, in the post physical age, consoles will come in two versions: 1) the $1,000+ console w/ big SSD and on-device GPU 2) the cheaper streaming-only console (like the PS Portal) Streaming-only is the new digital. It’ll also be the last console generation. (Nintendo, save us!)

Another thought on this - storage space (ie - SSDs) have increased so sharply in price that storing digital games is becoming increasingly difficult and expensive. Discs are DIRT CHEAP to produce - so even if you have to install them, you have a physical, cheap solution right there.
