Thank you to @orbitbooks.bsky.social for this beautiful book by M R Carey. Not sure what I was expecting, but I loved this medieval, monstrous, magnificent seven. Ideally paced, plenty of action & unexpectedly brave & honourable characters.

Strange Beasts by #SusanJMorris was a lot of fun. An excellent mash-up of gothic horror & Sherlockian crime drama. Will keep you guess. #booksky

I must thank @scalzi.com who featured The Serpent and the Knife in Whatever. A fun all-action ride across multiple dimensions. Espionage, smart-arse AIs & complicated relationships.

So, my first post is a book recommendation. Stuart Turton has done it again. The Last Murder at the End of the World is a future-set distopian murder mystery. Amazing world-building & fascinating characters. Twists & turns aplenty. #bookrecommends
