I am not on TikTok for various reasons. People tell me it's a good place to sell books, but I'm not really comfortable with the video format. As a writer, I much prefer text-based social media like this. I do post photos to Instagram, but get way fewer views than I do here.

Bluesky seems to be struggling this morning

I’ve had a vague idea for a mystery book swirling around in the back of my mind for a couple of years. Something clicked yesterday and this morning, I got up early and typed out an outline. Now I just have to figure out if it’s a book I can write.

Ugh. I had one of those dreams where it was my first day at a new office job in town but I was already late and I couldn't find the right building....
