So Megalosaurus. It was the first dinosaur to ever be scientifically described back in 1824. However, it’s fossils were found back in the 1600’s. Specifically a femur bone in 1676. This fossil also has a name. Scrotum humanum. Yep. That was the very first name ever given to a dino fossil. 👇👇
