Such a great read. It made me feel sad, joyful and grateful for what we had with nos Zamours. And like you, I think I would have started to chain-smoke again after nearly 25 years if this would have involved the Expos đ

Last week, for the first time since we lost the Expos, I really felt moved by baseball. Take a moment to read Dave's essay on what it was like to be there, and stick to the end for the most amazing story about how Amy was such a Mensch!

First piece about the game I've read. I've avoided highlights since leaving the stadium last week (not easy!). Thanks for a beautiful recap, and to you and your sister for being good humans. Ironically, I'm reading this from Montreal, where I first started watching baseball as a kid at the Big O.

My very good friend Alan Morton passed away today. He turned 57 last week. We bonded over The Hip and he taught me more about golf than anyone, taking me under his wing as his competition partner at our club. He loved life so much. Was a great dad to his kids. A loving husband. This is so unfair. đ

The ADL has decided to treat fascists as allies and progressives as enemies. For a group that is tasked with protecting American Jews, that is a world historic fuck up. I will never forgive these people for their moral decrepitude.

basically every 2024 truism is dead. Trump did not build a lasting multiracial coalition or turn young men into committed Republicans. You donât need to cave on trans rights to win. The pundits have nothing left to tell you.
