In sports, the teams with the most funding tend to win the most games because they are stacked with the best players. That's why I almost always root for the underdogs and that's why I'm rooting for the Toronto Blue Jays. I don't dislike the Dodgers. I just want the underdog to win. It's how I roll.

Breaking: Trump just banned states from being able to wipe medical debt from Americans’ credit reports. The Biden-Harris administration had moved to wipe medical debt from credit reports. Now this new rule will keep $220 billion in medical bills on Americans’ records.

The depth of the shame of a country this wealthy and abundant allowing its people to go hungry is impossible to measure. The fact that a handful of people could fix this by paying their fair share of taxes while still remaining obscenely wealthy makes it even worse.

This movie is really very good. It's marketed as a thriller, and it is, but then it becomes an unusually well-crafted drama and character study. If you haven't seen it, do yourself a favor.
