Small Angle Approximation with #Alevelmaths in #MathsToday - always like using Variation Theory to zoom in on possible misconceptions!

This is always one of my favourite #ALevelMaths lessons - introducing infinite geometric series. Y12 surprised me this year by generally preferring a geometric approach over algebraic tricks - usually it’s the other way round! #MathsToday

In #ALevelMaths - FM Core Pure Vectors - Does anyone have any ideas how to do the final part of this question. We’ve hit a block and feel there’s too many variables (although I have a sneaking suspicion there is an obvious solution as the numbers are too nice!)?
