Worth applying if you’re in your first 5 years teaching in FE. Don’t miss out if you have L3 AET but no higher level teaching qualification, they will accept AET too. You can also get it if you plan to sign up for teaching qualification in the next year.

GENUINE fact (not a "bit"): The date is 5^2 / 3^2 / 45^2 It is probably the last time in your lifetime where all three numbers are square (the next one being 1/1/2116)

I’m curious, are there any teachers on here who work flexibly within their own children’s school hours? I’m thinking I would like to ask next year if I can work either 2 days across 3 days or 3 days across 4 days. I am hopeful that the flexibility in FE may make this possible.

Ending my 3 day working week with almost no lessons planned for next week was not how I thought this week was going to go. I would love just one day of planning to get more on top of things. Teaching 2 new qualifications and no parallel lessons has made my workload explode. 🤯

Needed a new project so I’ve decided to make worksheets and accompanying videos to review each Unit of the GCSE Maths course. Unit 1 Higher (Number) just went LIVE on YouTube. I actually think these would be really powerful as a cover lesson.
