Today we joined @endchildpoverty.bsky.social & @cpaguk.bsky.social in Westminster to put a stop to rising child poverty as it hit 4.5 million, a record high. We urge the UK Govt to include scrapping the 2-child limit & benefit cap in the Child Poverty Strategy, this would lift 500k out of poverty.

No child deserves to live in poverty, yet today's figures highlight the work still to be done to eradicate child poverty. Tweaking the system isn’t enough - ending child poverty requires a clearer debate about our shared prosperity and how costs are distributed. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
