i worked with someone who was mentally and physically developmentally disabled and he was EXTREMELY racist. it's pretty common, i don't think you need full physical or mental cognition to be racist and recognize an in-group vs an out-group.

I first met Delgado when he ran for Congress Upstate. He won in a very formidable field of Dem candidates to flip our GOP held district. I challenged him at a meet and greet on his former employment at a Union busting law firm. He answered directly and honestly. He got my vote.
