This is so wrong-headed. You could not pay me to take a drug that was not tested in animals, and animal models remain absolutely essential for discovery research

Birth defects are diseases of development and are the #1 cause of death in the first year of life. And birth defects kill more than twice as many children as cancer. 4% of ALL hospitalizations (for all ages) are due to birth defects. Economic impact of birth defects is > 22 billion dollars per year.

A happy lab update. We have healthy froglets! 🐸💚 We switched everything to RO, and that fixed it. Not sure exactly what's going on, but we think that somewhere, someone is accidentally backwashing acid into the demineralized water system. More investigation is required. 🐸 🧪
