It seems pretty unlikely that you are clamoring for a six to twelve player Ottoman harem larp set in 1648, but if you are, I have one that's ready for playtesting. Nine of the characters are women and it can be run with or without a dedicated facilitator in two or three hours.

Today we were missing one player for our Blades '68 game so we cracked open @jmstar.bsky.social's Zhenya's Wonder Tales and played a couple of tales. Everyone greatly enjoyed it!

A character from the Ottoman harem larp I might be writing? The source material is rich. I think the challenge will be finding ways to make the players *not* want to assassinate the emperor, who was truly a shitbag's shitbag. No one plays him; he's the monster just off stage.

32. Night Witches by @jmstar.bsky.social It's 1942 and the Nazis have violated the nonaggression pact with the USSR. Play as Soviet airwomen in the all-woman 588th Night Bomber Regiment, known to the Germans on the Eastern Front as the Night Witches. This game is beautiful and harrowing.

I'm a really skeptic for games that pretend framing a scene is easy to do. But this one won me over. Very clever way of both prompting scenes and pacing the game. Funny, beautiful, sad, what more can you ask for.

I thought about abstracting it into space Ottoman empire but you can't take the sex and gender out of this setup anyway and maybe someone will learn something. The heavy bordered ones would be PCs in a larp about whose child will be the new emperor and maybe who is going to accelerate that process.

I'm very happy to report that my game Bad Math has been selected for the Immersion Larp Festival, specifically their challenge to utilize three high fidelity space suit props. Bad Math will run during the festival this summer in Turku, Finland.
