I would love to see national associations and/or players boycott the World Cup. It would probably happen in the Ted Lasso universe. Alas, that show is to elite-level football what the West Wing was to US politics.

Don’t let this White House lie to you. Believe what you see. Alex Pretti was trying to help a woman off the ground. Then immigration agents tackled, shot, and killed him. It’s time for them to get the hell out of MN.

The people who spent years defending and even lionizing Kyle Rittenhouse and Ashli Babbitt now want us to believe that an unarmed mother in her car and a disarmed nurse were domestic terrorists who deserved to be murdered by law enforcement.

Bovino looks like a 1935 Nazi in a Wes Anderson movie. It's cartoonish and would be funny if it wasn't causing Americans to be killed in our streets.

US citizen. Public servant. Licensed to carry a firearm but had no weapon in hand when killed. Attacked by ICE agents with chemical munitions for no reason, then shot. The time for talking is over. If you are an elected leader you have to tell us *now* what you are doing to end this nightmare ASAP.

I think we can afford to drop maybe another 10 points in the remaining 16 games. That'll put us on 88 points. If City win every game they end on 91, which they won't do.

I wouldn't discount the effect of three away games in six days. Mikel Arteta has done pretty well rotating over those matches, but sometimes tired legs catch up with you. Arsenal could have done with just a touch more sharpness in their play and that might be down to fatigue.

The Consolidated B-24 Liberator (1939) featured a larger bombload, longer range and higher speed than Boeing’s B-17. However, it also had a lower service ceiling and could prove a handful to fly. With almost 18,500 built, it was the most-produced heavy bomber in history. 📷
