I didn't used to get the flu vaccine because I'm not often around a lot of people and I figured it was just flu. Then I got the flu on my trip to Japan last year and it turned into an ear infection and abject misery. Now I get the vaccine. It's free with my insurance. It would be ridiculous not to.
