Can we normalize talking about how emotionally vulnerable writing a book is? It's something I've been thinking about a ton as I count down the months until my book comes out. I can't wait for people to finally read it, but...the thought of people reading it also TERRIFIES me.

Autism isn’t the crisis. The way autistic people are ignored until they break is.

Conversion therapy has been discredited by every mainstream medical and mental health association. It’s not legitimate medical care and has harmed many of our LGBTQ+ friends and neighbors. This Supreme Court decision is dangerous and hugely damaging.

Autistic adults don’t need to be fixed. We need lives that don’t require constant self-betrayal to "function." Needs aren't preferences. Support isn't indulgence. Dignity isn't optional. None of this is radical. It's baseline humanity.
