I got a soft spot for KQ6 especially, but they are brutal to play blind. 6's hint book couldn't warn you about all the fail states... I think at minimum having someone say "hey keep some key saves at these points just in case" goes a long way. their games rule when you actually get to see them

For the Banjo-Kazooie NintendoPower guide there was, what I can only describe as, a centerfold of Gruntilda's Lair. Well the design was so nice they used it at least twice with another appearing in the DK 64 guide. Honestly makes Gruntilda's Lair all the cooler.

When Square put out the FF I&II 20th anniversary strategy guides for PSP, BradyGames effectively split the FF Origins guide into two discrete guides at $17 a guide rather than $15 for both in one book. The "Getting Started" section is exactly the same! Talkin'bout triple dipping 🫢

First ran into this ad in the back of the Star Fox Adventures BradyGames strategy guide. I've thought about it constantly for about two decades. Xcloud got nothing on the WaveBird!

Blows my mind BradyGames used Pearson Education as their imprint for strategy guides for the longest time. Make sense as who else would have the infrastructure to produce large books of mass produced knowledge. When are we getting Diablo II as a standard course in education???
