One thing that is on my mind this morning: There is a dangerous counterfactual attack on e-bikes all across the US right now and there are no bike companies or bike orgs pushing back with clear storytelling to combat it. A multi-billion dollar industry without a clear comms strategy.

It's honestly wild that Denver presented a road diet plan as being "good" for ped safety back in December but now says that same plan would only have "moderate" safety benefits Yet, the new plan for a weird, unbalanced partial road diet with more lanes of thru traffic is rated as "good" for safety🤣

Note that congestion pricing has reduced serious crashes while speeding up traffic. Normally there is a tradeoff. But congestion pricing lets cities have their cake and eat it too.
