Legitimately baffled that EA has PC and console players together in crossplay mode on BF6. Getting no end of grief from my mates who are all on PS5 while I'm on Xbox, and we have to deal with PC players while playing together.

Here I am, nearly 38, and I'm looking up the chronological order for Miraculous Season 6 episodes. Because I'll be damned if my kids don't get a coherent watching experience.

Picked up Dispatch to play over Christmas on my Deck, enjoying it, and my eldest seems to enjoy watching over my shoulder. I'd let her have a go but she's 8 and it's definitely not appropriate 😅 don't suppose anyone has any "Dispatch but for kids" recs do they?

Klaus remains a god-tier Christmas film. I've always had a lot of appreciation for films that attempt to offer origins for mainstream concepts.

Just finished watching The Night Manager. It was enjoyable, but what I was hoping for was the premise implied by EP1 where Hiddleston fights crime as a hotelier, rather than being a generic undercover guy. Would have been more fun, but nevermind.

Taking a break from the list with a real sicko's pick - Bladestorm: Nightmare. One of Koei's wierdest games. A regiment-level action-strategy game (think Dynasty Warriors but you control 30 guys at once) set in a gloriously mangled version of the Hundred Years War. Usually overpriced. $15 for now.

I'm done for 2025. Been a fantastic year with amazing dev partners, colleagues, and peers. Also busy -- I wrote 82 press releases this year, probably more given we had some last minute announces. Bring on 2026!

NGL lads Gauntlet mode in BF6 is dope. One of the most refreshing modes since extraction became a thing. I just wish BF6 had given extraction another go as while RedSec is fine BR isn't always my speed. But then I tried Gauntlet and it stole the show for me.
