If these ID laws stay in place across America we will see more identity theft then ever before. It could genuinely become a type of financial epidemic. If you're in a state with these laws: PLEASE GOD email your reps about the recent Discord hack and ask them how they plan to protect you.

If any of your reps helped to get the laws into place, now is the time to name and blame them. Get mad and ask them to take responsibility for putting this pressure on corporations. Ask them why there isn't a state funded ID check that is secure and easy. Complain!
