I very distinctly remember when this game came out that people were happy it was going back to the roots, but people were dogging on the art style compared to 7 and 8 😅 I don't recall a single argument against the setting, but I do remember people complaining that 7 and 8 were no longer fantasy.

How is this game real... So many varied stories, characters with heart, and a fun battle system with a variety of ways to express yourself with. AND 13 different endings??? This is one of the GREATEST time travel pieces of media ever made!!

Rewatch complete of one of the biggest surprises of the past few years. Top to bottom an amazing cast with Pine bringing the charm and Rodriguez bringing the heart in one of my favorite performances from her. Filled with humor, fantasy and unexpectedly great stylized action.

I feel like when I made a game called Derelict with a generic space person with a big visor for the player to control I didn't expect there to be a bunch of games called Derelict to come out with the same kind of protagonist lol

I enjoy The Boys, but something that bugs me lately is that for the past few seasons they handle political talking points the same way The Big Bang Theory handles "nerdy" references. It will shotgun blast a lot of talking points so people point and say "I know that one!", vs being smart about it.

The existence of "love letters" in media implies hate letters also exist. I want to play a game that's a hate letter to a genre maybe (maybe not, but I'm curious)

Been on a bit of a Metallica kick again. I've never been a big fan of 90s-St Anger Metallica, and I'm still not, but- I'm glad Death Magnetic onward feels a bit more true to their roots. DM and Hardwired still have some weird oddities, but 72 Seasons is really really solid.

I feel like if you don't think big corporations have armies of paid/botted social accounts to sway perception for things that should be considered bad to the public, you're a little dense. The easiest way to get the public to agree with something dumb is to make them feel like an outcast over it.

Working the arcade with Retroware at PAX was p fun- long ass days, but fun! Now it’s empty and pax is DONE. It was good chatting with everyone who showed up! I wish I could have hit the floor more but all in all it was a good experience!
