I'll admit, while I think this is a good thing, I have never, ever, had any good luck navigating Microsoft's Xbox docs lol It's like the documentation is for *everything* Microsoft related, and not just Xbox, and in order to ask questions, you (seemingly) need to pay for their support services.

It’s still kinda cool that AVGN 8-bit is my first sort of “port job”, in that I got to take an NES game and bring it up to modern platforms. It’ll be cool when the NES version comes out so people can see where they deviate and all the little extras I was able to put in it that the NES just can’t do

A story in three parts

Can't deviate much from the AVGN source while on the road to release, so in my spare time I've been throwing together something with what I've built for that. TO ANSWER: 1) It's for fun, so keep your "yOU sHOULD cHANGE tHIS" to yourself 2) Literal no pressure weekend thing.

I remember as a kid it always felt like spring and autumn were super significant and gradual transitions between hot and cold, and now it’s like “today it’s 32°f, yesterday was 75°f” (Sorry season enthusiasts)

Hot take: the layer lines make every single 3d print ugly and contrary to what many enthusiasts would have you believe- it’s not actually charming in the least bit. Also the amount of cleanup you need to do to each print after hours of printing makes it not worth it lol

Final Fantasy 15. I get that people love that game, but it is such a Frankenstein’s monster of a game structurally and it’s just bad. You play a new game until you get to parts made 10 years before the game released and it SHOWS. Even the story had big changes just months before release. Let down.

I don't know if anyone else is like this, but I have a really hard time jumping between multiple projects with different approaches to code, so when I'm locked into one source for a bit (in this case, AVGN until release), I tend to work on other things using the SAME codebase.
