Seconding this. Literally been playing games since the 80s. I actively buy retro games, and not a single time have I ever had issues with disc rot.

If you're mad about Playstation dropping physical games in 2028, then your best bet is to boycott GTA6. The most expensive AAA game ever drastically underselling due to a lack of a physical disk is the level of message that would be needed to get Sony to change their digital-only plans.

I don't know if this is Hot Take or not, but not all games NEED voice acting. This is mainly brought on by the new Castlevania having some pretty cringe voice acting, on top of the fact that the Ocarina of Time Remake will probably inevitably have it. It comes off as corny like 90% of the time.
