Nobody talks about the grief process that comes with outgrowing a version of yourself that you once prayed to become. The grief that comes with outgrowing the life you once longed to live.

The echo chamber is one of the most dangerous places to be. It weakens your neural pathways. A little challenge/discomfort/conflict is good for you. When you're never challenged, your critical thinking muscles atrophy like unused limbs. You become mentally weak. Feeble-minded.

Just a reminder that whether it’s a physical book, e-book, or audiobook, you're under no obligation to defend your choice of “how” you read. If anything, the world needs more people who enjoy books and you should therefore enjoy them in whichever manner your heart desires.
