Annoying, but (since I like to give too much context) as a designer I notice this often breaks down to: 1) The owner(s) of the business wants to feel like what they do has some kind of meaning. 2) Google cramming the internet into the shape it wants it to be. Guess which one usually happens?

I'm in the same boat. I've been researching CMS' for years and noticed how difficult most of them are to operate a comic off of without a lot of additional plugins and pieces. Sometimes those pieces could help artists - but a lot of time I see them leave people overwhelmed.
