please watch movies and read books and play games and look at art, please view it with your own eyes through a lens you made yourself and not just through video essayists and ending explained videos please im begging you

This doesn’t mean it’s easy, but I’ve been feeling strongly about this. I think Patreon can make you think it’s something inescapable when lots of people are running their own membership sites or newsletters. And have for a long time. I strongly want Patreon to work for artists, not the reverse.

I’m add to this, I went last year and this year. I had been warned to not bother with the dealers hall (exhibiting that is. I did browse). It the most out of it by attending and being on panels. But comics are 100% an after thought at worldcon.

Yeah, I worked in customer support and, if it's a 'peak' of one day, they will not care. They'll wipe their hands and say "ok, volumes are back to normal, it's fixed" If after a week they are still receiving pressure... Then they'll begin to get nervous
