You might be thinking, wait, didn't Dems win virtually every election held this year? You're forgetting that in DC, "Democrats are flailing" is not a comment on empirical reality, it is a kind of core ideological truth, a load-bearing pillar in their weltanschauung.

Opinion | Why Democrats keep flailing
Voters arenât rejecting government. They are rejecting leaders who canât run it effectively.

Imagine trying to explain to an advanced alien race visiting Earth that a big part of the reason why we are all still cooking ourselves alive is because a significant percentage of people think solar power is gay.

"Matt Gaetz raped a homeless teenager and yet remains a free man because he's friendly with the current administration, where the president is also embroiled with accusations of rape and sex trafficking" is what you meant to write, one would hope.

At the same time the NY Times was hyping Hillary Clinton's emails, it had a reporter with emails from Jeffrey Epstein that were highly damaging to Trump. The more NYT apologists try to minimize this the clearer it becomes that they don't understand why much of the public doesn't trust legacy media.

Itâs weird watching Democratic party simps on this website rationalize how itâs good, actually, that 8 Senate Democrats broke from the rest of the party and voted with the Republicans.

Should New Yorkers vote for Zohran Mamdani? Itâs a tough call. On the one hand, heâs hip with young voters and has progressive policies. But on the other hand, the most disgusting political swamp creatures you know hate his guts.

By and large, the liberal establishment is not trying to drag Cuomoâs bloated corpse across the finish line because they think Mamdani represents an existential threat (he doesnât, really) but more, theyâre doing it because Cuomo is in The Club and Mamdani is not part of The Club.

I say this as someone who was NOT a popular jock in high school: Allowing losers who struggle to socialize into positions of influence because they could use a computer was a mistake. A generation of guys angry they couldn't do a pull up & got turned down for dates is taking it out on the country

Listened to a full REM album for the first time (I only actually knew a handful of their singles) and it suddenly makes so much sense why Gen Xers are obsessed with these guys. Culturally, I feel like they were to Gen X what Linkin Park was to Millennials. They understood the assignment.

My complete thoughts on the Charlie Kirk assassination: - Charlie Kirk was a bad person who made the world a worse place - Iâm not sad that heâs dead - His murder is still not morally justifiable - Lone wolf political violence is always self-defeatist
