Zelenskyy refuses to lick boots and kiss rings. That’s the problem. He’s not subservient enough. Zelensky has been to hell and back which none of these traitors can possibly fathom.

I’m supposed to fly to a conference this summer in Minneapolis. I may look into alternate methods of travel. I’m scared to fly for the first time in my life.

No one is immune from disability. It can happen to anyone at anytime, regardless of how 'young and healthy' you are. Stop believing you will be the exception, and start engaging in disability justice. It's far easier to fight for better support and treatment while you still have your health.

My husband just sent a message to his parents and siblings laying out that their support of the MAGA agenda is threatening him and our boys who are all blind. Crickets as far as a response. Their racism, hatred of LGBTQ+, and myopic worldview was more important than their loved ones.

No. Based on purely anecdotal evidence of my in-laws inability to see and acknowledge the downfall of our constitutional republic in real time.

Using Personal Jesus by Depeche Mode in a He Gets Us ad is continued proof that people don’t bother to research meaning or intention of a band’s or artist’s lyrics before using them. See: Born in the USA, Independence Day, etc.

The 19% that are unsure need to wake the fuck up and look around. The 27% who said no are people who didn’t pay attention in history class and will stand idly by playing their fiddle as Rome burns.

Shit is broken as fuck. We all know that. So if you happen to be looking for someone to play nice, shut up and smile, you’re in the wrong fucking place and you have the wrong fucking girl. Cuz that sure as shit ain’t this moment in time and it sure as shit ain’t me.

When does someone else’s apathy for what’s happening and their inability to stand up for themselves become a detriment? I’m struggling to stay connected with a certain person in my life for this reason. The apathy and unwillingness to fight goes against everything I was taught and believe.

Ableism is blaming disabled people on how their needs are a burden on the system rather than blaming the system on how inaccessible things are for disabled people.

All of the so-called "patriots" who are cheering the felon's dismantling of DEI is indicative as to why it was needed in the first place. That's right. There are people among us who never wanted women, the disabled, or people of color to have equal opportunities. True story☕️

Disability is not a personal or moral failing. Everyone is one accident, infection or stroke of bad luck from becoming disabled. When someone asks for help, give it freely and without strings. Don’t judge them or tell them to “try harder”. One day it’ll be your turn.

Don't forget to include disabled people in your resistance. The more revolutionary you become, the more likely you'll join the disability community. To fight back and get out alive is almost always to become disabled in some way. Disabled people know how to adapt and fight continuously. You need us.

Yep. When telling people that including disability when speaking about diversity, equity and inclusivity needs the be intentional so it’s not ignored or glossed over receives pushback - it’s infuriating.

Disabled people DID NOT cause the tragic plane crash on the Potomac. Hiring people from diverse backgrounds does not cause tragedy. Recognizing the diversity of humanity does not cause tragedy. Tragedy, however, can be caused by rejecting the fact that humanity is diverse.

FAA employees with disabilities DID NOT cause the deadly crash at DCA. There is an ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash. Using this tragedy to further stigmatizeinclusive hiring is wrong & takes away the conversation and work we should be doing about transit safety.

When you provide access or accommodate disabled people, you are not doing disabled people a favor or providing an advantage. You are doing what you are supposed to do to remedy past exclusion and discrimination.

Disability is part of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). Literally everyone will be affected by disability at some point in their life. Everyone. No exceptions. An attack on DEI is an attack on all of us.
