FDR won 42 states in 1932, it wasn't by pandering to Hoover voters. Then Republicans called him a socialist for 4 years. Then he ran for reelection and won 46 states

Got my COVID vaccine. DC council gave folks 90 days to get their vaccine without a prescription. CVS let me do it today. Walgreens refused me yesterday. Hopefully the CDC will loosen the rules after the ACIP vote yesterday. Get your vaccine to protect yourself and to protect your loved ones.

The fear of the word socialism has been utilized to force low income folks to vote against their own needs & concerns. It's important to understand that many of the programs we rely on, from public ed to firefighters & roads are all based on socialist principles.

Brian Kilmeade stated homeless individuals who are resisting mental health treatment should be given "involuntary lethal injection, or something. Just kill ’em." This weekend, there was a mass shooting of a homeless encampment. It barely made a blip on the news.

I dont think people quite understand that we are going back to openly utilizing the ugly laws on both sides of the political aisle. How do we rebuild empathy & compassion into the general population and in particular those w/ any amount of power. I will not accept that we are doomed.

One terrifying thing about the Tylenol RFK lie is it could eventually cause women to be incarcerated for child abuse. Tylenol is one of the safest over the counter drugs to help bring down fever and RFK is going to make things much more dangerous.
