Same! The whole Nagai plot blew my eight-year-old mind. Martin's art is amazing...

comics is such a great hobby for anyone who wants a giant pile(s) of stuff that feels way to delicate and complicated to ever effectively store and organize

about Marvel's recent throwbacks to things I'm very un-nostalgic for: "If you care about Marvel as a publisher of comics, it’s worth observing the desperation attending these attempts to appeal to supposedly dependable demographics that are actually increasingly niche."

Just watched the Biggs Cut with my wife. Deeply satisfying. I completely get why 80% of Biggs was cut from the final film, BUT if you don't care about pacing and are just interested in character development, SO MUCH ABOUT LUKE ONLY MAKES SENSE IF YOU KNOW ABOUT HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH BIGGS 1/x 🧵

Using this space as a repository for only my most indulgent, masturbatory posts. Accordingly, here are my top 70 X-Men characters based ONLY on their appearances from the Claremont era (1975 - 1991). Slightly weighted towards Claremont’s pet recurring nonpowered characters—my favorite kind of guy

It's your cousin Marvin! Marvin Night Tracks? You know that new sound you wanted? Well listen to this! *holds up phone to a 16th century madrigal and a woman counting backwards in Swedish to the sound of an old fashioned dial tone*
