This is one of three major Federal actions against healthcare for trans people this week. While the two bills passed by the House are not expected to pass the Senate, all three of these actions are heartbreaking to see. Both House bills would have failed if the Democratic caucus had held together.

6 years ago, a federal ban on gender-affirming care for young people was absent from the national Dem agenda, seemed unlikely to almost everyone who isnāt trans. 6 years ago, Marjorie Taylor Greene was a QAnon crank with a crossfit gym. Yesterday her ban passed out of the House with three Dem votes.

if i dismissed that young dev, we both would have missed out on that nice connection. i noticed more new folks in the chat starting to engage and ask questions too, ones they can ask an ai - but i was approachable to them in that moment so they didnāt have to. just something i have been noticing!

My dad was able to come to America, work his way up to the middle class, and retire with healthcare thanks to working on building public highways. Both my parents worked for the state department of transportation, and my mom was union for 25 years. Public infra builds abundance for entire families.
