At an outdoor cafe, and I just saw a bestie from far away surprise her friend who works here. Their 5 minutes of joyful screaming, hugging, and jumping up and down in other's arms was the sweetest thing ever. Bet, that if I met you guys, I would be doing the same. Well the day has finally come where my stress and not feeling well caused me to say something unkind to my youngest. And because I don't do that, they are shocked and hurt. And I feel like an asshole. I love you guys, but man, I'm so over all this.

I need a day where my body and brain aren't turning on me. But since that's unlikely, I'm going to sit outside and blow bubbles for the neighborhood cats. It slows my breathing down and my heart palpitations.

I would like to come back in my other life as a big, gorgeous tree. I want to be a home to and support life both within my branches and through my leaves. I want to stand in the sunshine and grow rings. I want to sing to the moon. I've spent this life wanting to help others. A tree is the best way.

I lysol every handle, knob, outlet, and touchscreen in the house once a day. Some people tell me this is overkill, and my response is always, "but we're living in a pandemic."

I can only handle people doing the same trend on social media maybe 3 times before it's boring. Then I log off and wait for the trend to die. I really am only here to see what my friends are up to. Not to make people famous or follow famous people.

"Don't you care about what's happening?" Yes. So much that it is physically hurting me, but a lot of us still have to go to our very low paying jobs with no healthcare even tho we are well educated to make enough money to eat. We don't have time to sit on the internet & yell at people all day.

There is a deep green color that I only see just as spring begins to come to life. As if the winter has marinated the seed, and it's overflowing with chlorophyll ready to burst. Over time, the green lightens under the sun, but that first spring peek is delicious.

I really meant to watch proper movies between sleeps today, but I've instead watched 6 hours of a sumo stable eating at various places lol.

We're all struggling as a family right now under a mountain of stress, anxiety, and fear of loss. My kids are for the most part handling it, but I can see the seams popping. So I took them for a midnight drive to the lake where we wrote our big feelings on rocks & threw them into the lake.

My equivalent of opening a bottle of wine and having a spa day is opening a pack of baseball cards, pouring a tall glass of chocolate milk, and listening to baseball on the radio in my porch rocking chair. ⚾

To me "Goodnight" implies an intention to see you again. A simmering joy that in day, we'll be reunited. What a warm and happy thought. A feeling worth living for. Goodnight, my friends. Wherever whenever you are. 💖

Bless your friends who know you don't have spoons so they make it simple for you to communicate. "A Y or N is fine. Are you ok?" Those things mean the world. ❤️❤️❤️

All of this has given me more resolve to fight harder and be too stubborn to take down. Because if I have gone through all of this- I deserve my happy ending.
