Using a chatbot, a programmer will happily produce code that would have gotten them murdered by the people who have to maintain it later. They'll happily take code just as bad, and not know the most basic things about how to maintain it. They'll feed it right back into the slop machine.

Did you know that you can just read all the previously accepted unicode emoji proposals on unicode consortium's website? My favorites so far are the ones with bio section at the end where they are "an emoji enthusiast"

Mayor Frey didnāt have the votes for the Dem endorsement, so he declared the whole process ILLEGAL SHAM STOP THE STEAL and got the endorsement revoked on threat of big donors revoking their checks. Money shouldnāt be able to overturn the will of the people. I donated to Omar Fatehās campaign today.

āIn Finland, the number of homeless people has fallen sharply. Those affected receive a small apartment & counselling with no preconditions. 4 out of 5 people affected make their way back into a stable life. And all this is CHEAPER than accepting homelessness.ā It costs a lot less to house people.

You may not feel it, but the ground beneath you may be sinking. In fact, the surface of Californiaās Central Valley is nearly 30 vertical feet lower than it was a century ago. Why is this happening? Because our planet is rapidly drying. THREAD/

This is why I get so angry at the Times and what they're doing. This isn't journalism, it's political maneuvering to target a minority group. It's the aiding and abetting of a fascist agenda to eradicate trans people from society.

if dems want messaging help, stop telling people you're "fighting back." it sounds like you're being mugged. call off the podcaster search, take your ridiculous money pile and try opening some food banks and free clinics. hurricanes are coming and the feds have no plan. looks like an opening to me.

far too many status quo liberals and conservatives have decided that itās easier to sell their soul to evil than it is to do the hard work of fixing their heart. I am an anti-fascist because I know how many people die If we lose that part of ourselves that says other people deserve dignity.
