Now Glover is describing the ring rims of the large crater as frozen ripples in water, or A‘ā lava. "boy, i am loving the terminator. There is just so much magic in the terminator. The islands of light, the valleys..." Such a lovely, relatable way to describe these lunar geological features.

Well, not a picture of the whole earth by a human until yesterday. We do have a camera out at the Sun-Earth L1 point that takes photos of the whole sun facing side of the Earth every hour.

I've also been watching people's reactions to this image. Are we all having some sort of "Overview Effect" reaction to it? (or at least by proxy via the Artemis II crew). Some people are loving it and seeing Earth in all its glory. Others are seeing the fragility. I think I'm having both....
