The designs for my characters range a lot, though I usually favor a sort of precise simplicity. Where like, the clothing looks simple but is oddly specific in form and color. For other aspects of design though— I do get complicated. I love to give my characters flaws and contradictions.

stop trying to cram everything into 12 episode seasons/series. bring back longer episode counts (24+) not everything has to be one or the other; we should have a healthy mix of both long and short form series. let stories be whatever length is best to be most effective

you have to learn to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. you absolutely need to learn how to deal with discomfort or it will make your life so much more difficult. if you always allow yourself to crumble or flee the minute things are difficult or unsettling, you'll never learn to overcome them.
