Notably, district court judges have no incentive not to defy the Supreme Court. The only leverage SCOTUS had was disapproval and censure but they've pissed away the salience of that. District courts should just issue another order and say "Fuck you, make me."

Really important that district judges keep applying the law as best as they can interpret it and not worry about what SCOTUS is going to say (or not say! - in their often unsigned, unreasoned orders)
