Trans people are anxiously waiting for the EHRC’s final guidance to be published, following its extreme and unworkable interim guidance. I know many are worried it will further the exclusion of trans people. I've written to govt to say that we MPs must be given time to debate it.

Never thought I'd feel bound to march in London Pride! The attack on human rights of trans people in the UK is a shocking misdirection. If it is not stopped, I believe the hard-won rights of others - including women - will also be at risk.

I have had death threats for my work on trans rights. I have been stalked. I have had people try and have me thrown out of my University. I am by no means alone, and lots of trans-inclusive academics have spoken publicly about the violence and harassment they face. But no mention of that here.

There seems to be an urgent need to educate MPs, Lords, judges and the wider population on what it actually is to be trans+. Most probably don't know a single trans+ person and so they fall for the falsehoods that are repeated in media and public discourse by those who seek to 'divide and rule'.

Good to read about all that TransActual are doing to help protect trans people. The entire LGBTQ+ community and wider sectors of the UK population need to be engaged in order to reverse this erosion of trans people's rights, and undermining of civil liberties and human rights more generally.

Good to read that Carla Denyer is pushing government to spell out how they will guarantee trans people's rights in the wake of the Supreme Court judgment. We urgently need more MPs and public figures to do this. Trans rights are human rights; the erosion of these rights should concern us all.
