In April, I asked for artists for a personal project. I researched and contracted with @sakuraazzzz.bsky.social. She took my 50% deposit, went silent, and delivered nothing. My first email went unanswered. My second was answered after I opened a PayPal dispute, where they asked me to withdraw it.

In 1993 I asked Roger Zelazny if he had rewritten a scene in Lord of Light just to make a specific pun. He was most gracious, and after having a chuckle he said he'd rewrite to add a cliffhanger, but not a pun. The pun just happened to be perfect for the scene. Learn the craft from your elders.
