Sometimes I get a character idea stuck in my head that just has to be drawn. Saw a bunch of X-men stuff when the show continued and the idea of a mutant became very front and center in my mind. Finally took the time to design out Sabrina here because I wanted a moth mutant design.

Just read through all of this so far and it's lovely. Go read it. It's worth it!

Mob Psycho 100. Its such a pitch-perfect story of growing up and learning to accept yourself in a world of weird, immature adults. Watching Mob go from a lonely kid getting conned into blowing up ghosts, into a sweet, sensible lil guy with friends and self respect is such a great journey.

Was in a rush to get this one done before I left for the airport. @fluffvr.bsky.social is always a wonderful and supportive friend and I looked forward to getting to meet her. Honestly wasn't to far off from how spending time with her was. Lots of hugs that I didn't always expect.

Forgot to post the two drawings I made before my vacation back on Dec 19th. Went and saw Fluff, Meiyu, Axel and Frosty for a little over and week and had a wonderful time. Was my first vacation and time out of state in around 12 years so it was a lot of anxiety. Was worth it.

As of today I’ve removed Twitter from my phone and locked my account. Elon going all in on Generative AI, including enabling Grok to generate deepfakes OF MINORS is unconscionable. This year we ALL need to be louder than ever about this: GenAI is largely unethical and needs to be regulated.

Small one shot manga I did a while ago, featuring Snuggly The Crow form Dark Souls 1

Obviously, this is amazing BUT the thing I love most, is that it's directly poking fun at the desire/fetish to overanimate overlapping action & smears. Asking someone of James Baxter's calibre to *intentionally* do this (as well as mess up the spacing on a bounce) is funny in the nerdiest way.

I'll just put this here because I need to vent where I know nobody will notice. I feel like shit. I see love and hear of it all the time but I know I'll never truly experience it. All the joy I can feel and the simple sensation of feeling loved in someone's arms are denied of me.

I like leaving my work place little drawings to announce stuff. Taking a vacation to see @fluffvr.bsky.social @meiyu.bsky.social and a couple others so I felt this was a good time to do a good sketch.

I find stuff like this super useful as it does great to demonstrate steps to animate and how to compartmentalize it. Also it's always just so pretty to see stuff get refined.

I kinda played around with this once I got the Q. Usually it's best to establish the shape as opposed to the placement on the face. You can decide on length and such from there. You have to eye the bridge of the nose and the chin, depending where they are can establish the size.
