Advice I’m taking to heart myself: It’s easy to get swept up in the excitement of the “model-tested” candidate or something new. But we’ve got to do our homework — background checks, research, the whole nine yards.

The stakes are too damn high this cycle. We can’t afford mistakes. Too many have done 180s after we poured our hearts, energy, and resources into their campaigns. We’ve been burned before. Stay vigilant. Trust, but verify. And if you pick up intel or information, share it with your state party.

Weird story: Around 6 am PT today residents of a Eugene, OR apartment complex were awoken by several unmarked cars with flashing lights and two flash bangs. A witness said agents were speaking in Spanish and demanded people come out of an apartment with their hands up. Turns out the agents were FBI.
