I've always felt pretty strongly this is what makes the difference between really creatively successful artists and artists who end up making mediocre imitations. A lot of people want to make something inspired by Earthbound but Undertale didn't just ask "how do I make Another Earthbound".

Hard not to feel like it was all a rug pull. The generation that raised us, made us the most educated in history. Taught us to be compassionate, empathetic and said we could be anything we wanted to be. Now nothing is affordable. Nothing is in reach. They want to erase who I am, and who I love.
