Went to the course with some of the guys and fished discs out of the pond. 48 discs in all with only a handful with readable numbers. I'm a good kind of exhausted and the shower afterwards was fantastic. So many 12+ speeds in the center of the pond (250 ft downhill).

You want to talk about mediocrity and cowardice? It's a bunch of centrist Democrats representing deep-blue districts filled with voters who are demanding they fight, but they just sit on their hands and expect to be re-elected.

Incumbent Democrats haven't done much to stop Republicans from destroying this country, etc., and so the Democratic voters in their districts chose candidates who promised that they would, in fact, stop Republicans. That's precisely why there were primary challenges. This isn't complicated.

Those candidates are to my left on a number of issues. But if you conflate victories by a few lefty candidates with an entire party being taken over by people with open contempt for multiracial democracy and the rule of law, then you have entirely missed the boat.

Replace slit with drive, and the topic with disc golf and this becomes a very relatable statement.

The state has been working on redoing a busy intersection. Sewer lines and everything. The city’s project to redo a major street in town just caught that intersection. The Kwik trip, dollar general, and a few offices are about to be inaccessible. Surely that can’t be allowed?
