Endorsed! It's the best of the series, IMO. But I crave expressive character mechanics and concentrated tactical blitzes, rather than deep customizability and epic strategic scope. I really appreciate hearing from Luc and Michel at this moment. The way the franchise continued after LiS2 was probably not what they would have chosen, but both at the time and today in this interview, they have been incredibly gracious toward Deck Nine and the later games. "Beast Breaker" has such a unique gameplay loop! It's a little like Shadow of the Colossus doing an Arkanoid impression, but with 2D Monster Hunter elements. I will not explain further, just go play the demo. This one's on sale for the next 3 days & worth every penny.
