I agree! Scientific threads are fun to write (even though it takes time and effort to do them right!). They are a great way of disseminating and learning about research, and making new connections too. My small contribution: How about dropping the term tweetorial for the fresher “blueprints” ;)

This is such an important point often lost in discussions about neuroimaging (e.g., no-report paradigms) or artificial intelligence (e.g., purported classification of, say, mental states or personality types). Any indirect measures tracking subjective states *depend* on subjective reports.

I encourage every PhD student to set up an academic website, even if they don't feel like they have a lot to put on it. Why? Helps to get discovered by search engines and establish a search-friendly presence. What platforms work well for simple websites and are cheap (or better yet, free)? 👀
