OpenAlex (openalex.org) is totally badass. I am not convinced the coverage is the best but compared to competition (WoS and other BS) the functionality is miles ahead. And I get to share the data on the other end.

Why do people use double line spacing in their manuscripts? Is this for writing notes on printed papers? APA formatting thing? Aesthetic preference? This seems very psych-specific as e.g. any random paper on arxiv will be single-spaced.

Can anyone suggest a good guides for using lab notebooks? (Like the traditional pen and paper bench scientist ones, not computational). Like I want to know what you're expected to write down, how you capture and transform the really important stuff, how you refer back to them etc etc
