Adult-use cannabis market/regulation bill (@paulkrizek.bsky.social) passes House. This is smart economics, making sure tax revenues come to VA, while also being able to better ensure safe products. Sadly little bipartisan support for this $5b industry that majority of VA voters support.

Due to reports of sewage spills in the Potomac River and the anticipated timeline for repairs, the Virginia Dept of Health (VDH) is issuing a recreational water advisory for VA residents. For the safety of people and pets, VDH is advising VA residents to avoid recreational activities in the Potomac.
