(1/2): We are heading toward a Trump shutdown for a simple reason. He directed Republicans in Congress to reject bipartisan negotiations and pass a bill that locks in devastating cuts to health care.

As I’ve been saying, everyone knows someone who has lost their job due to Trump policies. And yet, Winsome Earle-Sears continues to prioritize partisan politics over Virginia jobs.

My first few days in Congress have been jam-packed! ✅ Introduced my 1st bill to protect federal workers from unjust DOGE cuts. ✅ Signed the Epstein discharge petition. ✅ Gave my 1st floor speech calling out Trump’s harmful policies. It’s an honor to serve Fairfax families.

Fairfax families are already facing ACA hikes & Medicaid cuts from Trump’s policies. Now he’s pushing toward a shutdown and blocking good-faith negotiations. I’ll keep fighting for solutions that protect families & lower health care costs.
