I happened to find myself riding in a line of about 10 cyclists (just regular rush-hour bike traffic in the Garry St. bike lane) and heard a little child exclaim from their stroller: “It’s a bike parade!” 🥰

Older lady peeped the rainbow flag on my bike, asked in a thick Russian accent “It’s your Pride?” She told me her youngest grandchild is “not she berry or he berry but no berry.” I said “Nonbinary?” She got so excited. Yes! Yes! And “Is a secret, but they are my“ *looks around, whispers* “favorite.”

A group of bikers rolling down the Midtown Greenway in the early days of summer. IMO it’s impossible to overstate how important the greenway is to Minneapolis, we’re so lucky to have it. June 2026

NEW: Thiel's Dialog society privately told members their data was stolen in a cyberattack. But WIRED found it was just readable to anyone on a misconfigured web page. Its lawyers sent us a legal demand to hand over the data. We passed.

Dialog Claims It Was Hacked. A Misconfigured Website Left Its Members Exposed
The private events group, cofounded by Peter Thiel, says a “criminal” hacker is behind a breach that exposed members’ personal details. WIRED found no evidence a break-in was needed to access the file...

The Urban Arrow is a great cargo bike, but becomes useless when trying to haul a baby in a car seat adapter PLUS a stroller on the frame. It has few storage options. The

trike makes bulky loads incredibly easy. Trikes aren't for everyone, but when you need space, they are unmatched

Go to the comments to be with fellow bike nerds. The spokes, the cables, the brakes, the missing pedals. There’s no end to the creativity of this bike.

if your dad sucks let me—an actual dad—use father's day to tell you what I think every child deserves to hear from their parents: I'm proud of you, and so glad you're figuring out how to survive this messy world. The world is better with you in it. This is extra true if you're trans.

There is complete industry consensus on this. Every reputable cryptographer on the planet agrees: Signal’s cryptographic protocols are the most secure in class. Period. Just because your father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate told you otherwise doesn’t make it true

I listened to the press conference so you don’t have to: - 15 defendants, all from the Twin Cities. 13 currently in custody - Direct Action MN mentioned - quotes and video from people fedposting on Instagram - lots of very obvious lies, local reporters were skeptical and they cut the Q&A off

ICE observers in Minneapolis have begun receiving visits from FBI agents sent to intimidate them. A close friend-combat vet, mother, no criminal record-who was a volunteer observer during the ICE crisis, had a visit and was threatened for taking photos and videoed, claiming that filming was illegal.

The Dutch mobility system isn't just built around cycling. It's built around bike-train intermodality: cycling solves the train's convenience problem and the train solves cycling's range problem. Together, they offer an attractive alternative to driving on a mass scale. WATCH:

it actually brings me great pleasure to know that billionaires are so afraid of journalists that they’re trying to build whole new systems for justice to diminish our power. despite corporate consolidation, we continue to do something they can’t fully buy and it drives them mad. stay mad, assholes.

My gf has roped a load of churches into getting their members to collect a load of food that can then be distributed to those who need it across Belfast. Many are afraid to leave their houses, even to get food. People have been delivering food to strangers since this started.

Graphic novels turn kids into lifelong readers. They challenge readers, transform reluctant readers into readers, they bring joy. They boost vocabulary, increase reading comprehension for brains that take in information differently. They tell a story. Graphic novels are real reading, real books ✨📚😊
