I got to play the 1st session of #DrawSteel! the other day & it was so much fun. The game is being run by a friend who's never run a game before & we have another new player who's only played D&D; only 3 sessions of it. Its really easy to learn! The Delian Tomb lays everything out for first timers.

started playing Draw Steel so I doodled my character, Opaline! She was created by the goddess of time and space herself to assist the monarch of a nation in a terrible war against dragons. Opaline loves learning about "human culture" and is basically an alien. Her class is Chronopath/Time Mage! ⏳

I like to look at it from a few different angles - system mastery, role play mastery, and social mastery (there's overlap). System: Understands the rules and how to leverage them at the table RP: Improv, storytelling, dialogue, voice, etc Social: etiquette, empathy, above-table comms, etc.

Small life update. I didn't have much time to create these past two months. I have a lot of ideas and plans and I am hoping to return to work on them in October. I am currently working on a fully arted Draw Steel supplement containing statblocks for Nymphs. After that, maybe a new asset pack.

The PDF for Ratcatcher released today, really exciting stuff! I love there being 2 separate nature based ancestry's along with a small Bestiary of Wode Creatures. Would be really good for a fey/wode themed Draw Steel campaign. I had the same feeling after Sharkadia, where I wanted to run a sea game.
