I'm slowly shifting focus to my next Draw Steel product, so I'd like to know: what DS mechanics do you think are just not worth the squeeze? For me it's Surges. I'd much rather have a simple Surging condition that doesn't require tracking another resource.

Can we not call people boring? This is like "git gud" for TTRPGs. Some people like the challenge of "reading the word picture" (see Skill as My Balls by @magnoliakeep.itch.io), some don't. There are different ways to fix boring combat, and they depend entirely on what the table is looking for.
