About to play in a session of #Drawsteel? Here's a tip Make a cheatsheet of your characters' abilities in your own shorthand. Of course, have your full sheet nearby, but this makes it much easier for me to visualize what my character actually can do on a turn. Cannot recommend enough!

Draw Steel Montage Tests Odds are more impacted by individual test difficulty than overall montage difficulty. I'm sharing for Director consideration when running these. I will likely default to Medium individual test difficulty when I run, only going up or down when heavily warranted.

Watching @aavoigt.bsky.social's latest video has made me wonder: how do y'all keep up with the #TTRPG conversation? Since now it all happens in little isolated real-time chats, I find it super hard to stay engaged. I can't read every channel on Discord that might have an interesting convo going on!

Such an incredible video. As someone who joined the hobby around 2021, it's so cool to hear about the amazing history that came before. This is a must-watch if you're into TTRPGs!

Note to self. Read "Ending the Encounter" sections carefully. Many encounters are intended to end earlier than "all enemies are killed" in Draw Steel. Something I have missed too often.
