A broken Congress produces an overpowered presidency and Supreme Court. The ways in which Congress is broken are a consequence of the electoral system. None of these things improve in any viable long-term way without structural electoral reform. It's not a nice-to-have, it's the bedrock necessity.

The Federal government does not own the interstate highway system. Apparently, this is a big misconception: I did a video about the Gov. Thomas Johnson bridge, and my comments were full of MAGA people telling me that it's a "state road" and asking why the Federal government would be involved.

One thing I've learned in months of campaigning is that voters are extremely bad at math and can be emotionally manipulated with large numbers. The Treasury lost about $125m minting pennies; we spent around $700m on the WHO; the Federal government spends $7 *trillion* (million x million).

Hungary was one node in a right-wing network spanning from Moscow to Washington. But Hungarians just voted Orbán out after 16 years. Enough people were fed up with the corruption and lies and voted to defend basic democratic principles. We’re going to have to do the same thing here in the US.

The amount of misinformation we’re getting about an incident that just occurred in front of 1,500 news reporters is truly the metaphor of our generation.

Didn't bend, didn't cower, didn't even feel the need to stand next to Trump grinning awkwardly like it was normal. And now he's emerged unscathed with his job and his dignity intact and his reputation even stronger than before. Huh. Seems like this could be a model for others in power.

This is treating Trump v. United States as law. It is not law. It is anti-law. It belongs in that category of Supreme Court decisions which were not merely wrong, they were illegitimate and non-binding from the day they were issued. It is owed no more respect than Lincoln gave Dred Scott.
