I made a stop-motion animation to help people get to know me a little bit! The linktree in my bio also contains my art portfolio, Patreon, and everything else! I am also in the process of developing a website so people can easily read my comic online. I'll share progress and post news here.

You should write weird, human stuff as a fuck-you to AI and the awful world we live in, yes, but also because you will be changed and your life will be changed through allowing yourself to be vulnerable and uncomfortable in your art.

Let me tell you an American story. Many years ago, I visited my friend

in Chicago. He lived in Garfield Park. We went to the namesake park to visit his friend Cuba. Cuba lived in a tiny shack built up around a large fallen tree.

The electronic warfare organism's maw is a powerful emitter in radio and microwave frequencies. It acts as a radar and communications platform, as well as jams those of the enemy. It can also emit short intense pulses to fry electronics.

The air defense turret carries an array of lasers in addition to its own auxiliary radar. Each lens is independently targetable, allowing for either focused irradiation of large targets or simultaneous targeting of many smaller ones.

Since many of us are cancelling streaming services, I want to post a little reminder that many library cards will allow you free access to Kanopy, an amazing streaming channel. If your library card doesn't work, you can often sign up for other libraries in your region.

Okay, so, Portland...I need an abandoned indoor pool and someone to make really large multicolored jellos from molds that look like creatures if you smashed them on the floor of the abandoned swimming pool... and then someone with some trained pet pigs to devour the remains while being photographed.

In my experience, courage is usually the product of love and/or solidarity. When we are deeply invested in each other, we are more likely to take risks that we wouldn't take out of mere principle, or for the sake of people we feel disconnected from. Our alienation mass produces cowardice.

Just a periodic reminder that it's a good idea to bookmark your favorite artists' sites, sign up for their newsletters, and follow them everywhere you can. (My links are in my profile & pinned post!). Because of the current climate of censorship you never know where we'll get kicked off of next.

this was my beloved scratchy dip pen art style for illustration/comics before I had to unlearn it entirely for tattooing (design principles have very different requirements) but I still go back to it whenever I can get away with it! with gratitude to Ralph Steadman.

"The sparrow flicked from eaves to tiles to roof-ridge, crossing the quarter. Where the Fane's obelisks cut the sky, the bird scurried for height, lost in the milk-blue heavens, flying swiftly south-aust. Down between marble wharfs, heat-swollen helium airships tugged at mooring-ropes."

Sometimes I think about how I almost lived a joyless, closeted life of self-loathing and misery and instead I get to do drugs and be a freak and love and be loved by other freaks. I'm going to die in a pile of dykes someday, probably out of my mind on peyote, and that's beautiful.

Gotta post more of my oil paintings on here! Here's Peacekeeper. This piece is massive, just under 6 feet tall & 4 feet wide. The title and part of the imagery was inspired by a haunting photograph of the LGM-118 Peacekeeper MIRV missile system being tested.

Finally saw one of my favorite movies, Shin Godzilla, on the big screen for the first time! I'd only ever seen it on a 13-inch laptop screen before. A lot of Evangelion DNA is in the shot framing/scene composition, and it's so delicious on the big screen. Hideaki Anno remains goated as an auteur.
